All My Friends

Newsflash: Kelly and I are moving to Seattle in June. Two weekends ago we had a going away party at the Colony Club (the best coffee shop / bar in DC), inviting all of our best DC friends. I decided, what better way to document the occasion than with some film cameras! The results turned out even better than expected.

Thanks to all our friends who made it out (and sorry to everyone we forgot). Kelly remarked that it felt like our wedding day, having all our different groups of friends all in one place. We love all of you and promise to come back to visit.

As expected, the star of the show was Margot LeCroy, who probably deserves her own blog post.

Bronze Radio Return + Sontalk

Had the pleasure of seeing Bronze Radio Return play at Union Stage in DC last night. Most of the band members went to college with my good friend Steve, so I’ve more or less been following them since they started 11+ years ago. If you haven’t heard of them, I’d definitely recommend checking them out.

This was my first time really shooting at a concert. I very much enjoyed it, and definitely want to try to shoot more of them. Shout out to James for taking some shots with my camera. Since it’s my camera, I’m taking all the credit though. Maybe bring your own camera next time…
